In today’s ever changing and unpredictable environment, a need for better animal services has come to the forefront. At SOS Animal Services, we provide Humane Reps and Animal Talent & Handler COVID Safety Guidelines.
SOS SAFETY ON SETS © Animal Services was created to respond to those needs by providing more responsive animal services. We do so in a streamlined, economical and effective way.

Documentation
Our Humane Animal Treatment services go beyond documentation and the certification letter. Our SOS HAT-d reps are all professional animal handlers, trainers &/or wranglers with extensive set experience. We are also experienced working remotely (or via zoom access) on set or off site.

COVID Safety Guidelines
We have developed our own protocols for Animal Talent & Handler Safety on sets and comply with yours, too. We come fully prepared and have our own PPE, masks & sanitizers. The animals are groomed and bathed before each job as appropriate. We have guidelines for rehearsals, talent interactions and contact.
WE STAND APART
We not only document, but we can offer effective suggestions to facilitate the animal action. Whereas other companies may “write you up” or only address the problem (thus creating delays on set), our SOS HAT-d reps work with you and the animal handler to provide a solution. Time is money on set and our goal is to make it work quickly and effectively —while maintaining a safe working animals environment.

THERE WHEN YOU NEED US
We have heard from Production that it can be difficult to get a humane rep on set. Sometimes the humane rep just “don’t show up” because a higher priority job came up. Or worse yet, they just don’t have enough reps to cover all the jobs, so the coverage is not there when you need it. This will never happen with us. Even with short lead time we will have our SOS HAT-d humane rep on your job.
A BETTER SOLUTION
As professionals providing and handling animals on sets for over 65 years, we have seen a lot. We have worked on sets where the humane rep was not an asset. We have seen how their lack of animal knowledge & set experience became a liability to the client or Production. The worst case scenario is when an inexperienced humane rep causes unnecessary problems on set wasting your time and money.
SUPPORTING EVERYONE
At SOS Animal Services, we respond to and support all jobs. We do not prioritize big name, big budget or union jobs over small, indie, or low budget jobs. The need for professional humane animal services is there for all jobs. We also cover all media: TV, film, web video, social media, internet, print, reality shows, streaming content, documentaries, or any other job or live event.
